There are too many things to expect from Microsoft in the new game console, the Xbox 720 which it is developing. We are expecting that the new game will meet the taste and standard of the play. Microsoft has not come out to say what users would expect from the current product but only said that it is researching deeply into the market to come out with a product that create the type of wave created by Xbox 360. However it appears that Microsoft is not in a hurry to replace the Xbox 360 as there are indications that the company would like the old game console to stay as much as seven years before it is replaced with Xbox 720. The idea we believe is to recoup all the money that was lost to the project which was put at billions of dollars. Moreover, it will give more time to the company to research more into the market and determine what the people want.
However, feelers from Microsoft said that the company is taking its time to produce a gem product and that could only be possible if the company research deep into the market and come out with a new generation game that will be without any error or criticism. What that means is that the launching of the new game cannot be done until sometime in 2012 and 2013. By that time the company must have made all the money it will make with their older products. The speculations going round now may not go well for the company because everything will depend on what its opponents will come out with. I think it will be better for Microsoft to lead the market than chasing the market, thus revealing the Xbox 720. Who knows when their rivalry in the business Sony will come out with their own products? If they outsmart Microsoft then Microsoft will find itself in a position where it will be chasing the market behind Sony instead of leading the market while Sony follows. We think it will be proper if Microsoft will study the situation and know whether it will launch when the ovation would be loudest.
