What would be and what would not be is characterizing the debate on the impending Xbox 720 to be released by Microsoft in no distant time.

When we talk of the release there having been speculation making round that the product could hit the market around the year 2012 or 2013. Until the product hits the market there would be no end to the speculation of what will be there and what would not be there. Every proposer always hints his own speculation on what they may consider the realities of the time. There is also the debate that is going on as to how to make the product acceptable to the people and make it win in the competition between the Xbox 720 and the Sony.

Nobody would be expecting that the new gaming console to be released by Microsoft will have any reduction in terms of technology. It is not expected that after the impressive performance of its earlier product that Microsoft will settle on anything that will be technologically inferior. We are expecting that while Microsoft improves on the technological capability of the new product, it has to bear in mind that it should not be enabled with the technology which could push up the price beyond the reach of the average player. The main aim of the game is to retain customers; anything that will push the price beyond the reach of the ordinary man is going to be counterproductive.

Another thing that is expected from the Microsoft is that the Xbox 720 should be made in such a way that it would be user friendly that is another area where the technology will come into play. Users are not expecting a platform that would so sophisticated such that the ordinary player could not find it difficult to enjoy the game. The popularity of the product would also revolve around how user friendly the product is. The present Microsoft product which is in vogue is the visual basic.net. The platform is still popular among the users of the game and if Microsoft decides to increase the capacity of the platform it could do so but it will not be at the level where people do not understand how the platform works. The platform the players of the game would like Microsoft to retain is a very simple platform which will be user friendly and which even a novice could easily play without difficulties. Even though we advocate a simple platform that we would not want a vulnerable and weak platform that could easily collapse.
