A new gaming console is on the making, speculation has been there for sometime now, about the time the new game would hit the market. The speculation was started by the manufacturer of the gaming console. The new gaming console we are talking about is the Xbox 720 to be produced by Microsoft come 2011 if everything goes according to that speculation. Gaming console has been around from one generation to the other. The generation of gaming console we are talking about is the eight generation of the console.
As a result of the new product marking a new generation of the gaming industry it is expected that apart from incorporating the valuable functionalities of the earlier generations of the game, it should add its own peculiar features. It should be noted that whatever are said now about the features of the coming gaming console would be based on speculation and not on reality because Microsoft has not come out to say what the product would look like. However these speculations are necessary to help the game producer knows what users would like most and what they are expecting from them.
The media through which the gaming console would be played is speculated to be on the normal DVD, on the CD and on the high definition DVD and the blue ray disc as well.
The CPU system where the game is expected to operate is on the 3.2 PowerPC and on the Tri-core Xenon. It is also expected to support high volume of graphics which could be up to 500 MHz ATI Xenon and even more. The connectivity to the internet and other sources are where the new product is expected to show some innovations. It is speculated that it will have about 100 Mbit of Ethernet and Add on Wi-Fi capacity of 802.11 a b/g. This is high enough to support the type of game it is expected to play.
Moreover the game could also be played online at Xbox live which is the official online service of Microsoft. It is expected that the game will be compatible with its predecessors that are the Xbox, and the Xbox 360. These were the games produced by Microsoft before this Xbox 720. As said earlier all these things are speculations. The game could have more than that or even less than that but anything less than that will not meet the expectations of the lovers of the game.
